Day 21

Plan A Volunteer Day for Your Family

The holidays offer a rare opportunity to get the whole family together and it’s the perfect time to get the next generation involved in causes they care about. Find a volunteer opportunity that aligns with your family’s philanthropic goals and values by using a website like VolunteerMatch.org.

Tip: Involve the next generation by letting them research and decide what causes are important to them and where they want to give their time.

For younger children that may not be able to volunteer, check out these age-appropriate picture books that explore generosity and the power of giving.
