Organizing a Creative Office Volunteering Event
A bravo is in order for Nicole Seeley Terrel for organizing our Connecticut office’s volunteer event supporting a local nursing home. What started as a planned beach cleanup turned into a creative lunch break of pot painting and planting when the weather didn’t cooperate. It was great to see so many green thumbs and artistic talents come out and join the event.
We enjoyed the opportunity to build connection, community, and impact outside of our day-to-day work. Again, thank you, Nicole, for putting this together and creating an opportunity for the team to give back in such a thoughtful way!
Growth: More Tax Returns Ahead of Schedule
The entire operations teams and leaders deserve a major bravo in helping us be over 300 tax returns ahead of last year in terms of returns prepared and over 200 foundations ahead of last year in terms of resolving open items for tax season. This is a massive undertaking by each of the teams—from questionnaires to reconciliation, to legal, and so very much more!
Smooth Deployment: Huge Bravo to the Admin and Payment Transformation Teams!
After a year of intense work, we successfully merged months of development and deployed one of the largest releases in history. Despite the complexity of integrating into an established platform, the teams’ coordination, communication, and diligence made for an exceptionally smooth deployment—so much so that today felt like business as usual.
This was a massive effort and a true team win. Special thanks to our Platform Manager, Payments & Ledgers Eric Carter and Senior Director of Product Management Peggy Jacobsen for keeping everything aligned and on track, and Senior Software Engineer Brent Jones for leading the dev team, and Software Quality Engineer Stephanie Pinion for her outstanding QA leadership and meticulous release coordination.
And to all the developers, QA engineers, and contributors who put in countless hours—your hard work made this possible. Thank you and congratulations on bringing this to fruition!
