Helping Clients Get Charitable Giving Right – FPA 2023 Fall Symposium

Jeff and Steve will explore three key types of giving vehicles: private foundations, donor-advised funds, and charitable remainder trusts / charitable lead trusts. All are effective yet offer different levels of control, authority, and philanthropic versatility. The structure and merits of each will be discussed with respect to tax treatment as well as grantmaking, legacy, organizational and investment considerations, plus Jeff and Steve will offer practical guidance on how to help clients choose the right tools for their situation.
