She specializes in strategic planning, leadership transitions, organizational development for corporations, nonprofits and foundations, and business development and client retention. Passionate about philanthropy and the power of the social sector, Elizabeth sits on the advisory board of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Alumni Network. She grew up in San Francisco, CA, and lives with her family in Seattle, WA.

Julia leads the Charitable Consulting team at Schwab Charitable, serving advisors, family offices, and donors nationwide with charitable planning consultation and resources designed to help wealth management professionals and their clients maximize impact. Julia has experience with many aspects of effective philanthropy, including complex assets, legacy planning, and social impact strategy. She has spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, working in two security exchanges, in private wealth management, and in planned gifts. She holds a BA in Business Administration from John F. Kennedy University and serves on the board of Community Housing Partnership, DBA HomeRise in San Francisco where she lives with her family.
