Kirk Smith

Managing Director, GTCR

Mr. Smith joined GTCR as a Principal in 2022 and is currently a Managing Director. Prior to joining GTCR, he was a Principal at Bregal Sagemount where he was responsible for originating and underwriting investments in the software, tech-enabled services, and financial technology sectors. Prior to Bregal Sagemount, he was an Associate in the Special Situations Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. In addition to Foundation Source, he is currently a Director of Senske Services, Concord Servicing, and Winged Keel. Mr. Smith holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance with honors from the University of Kansas.
