Senior Vice President, Head of Product

Hetal Patel is Senior Vice President and Head of Product at Foundation Source, where she oversees the company’s core product pillars and leads the product strategy, development, and organization. She brings 18+ years of enterprise technology and product experience from her tenure at leading financial services firms, including CIBC, Northern Trust, and AT&T.

Most recently, as Managing Director of Product Strategy and Development at CIBC’s US Private Wealth business. Hetal led end-to-end product strategy and roadmap execution for wealth management platforms serving high-net-worth clients. Earlier in her career, she drove digital transformation and product innovation initiatives at Northern Trust and AT&T, scaling platforms and operations while managing cross-functional teams through complex technology transitions.

At Foundation Source, Hetal is maturing the product organization and driving strategic initiatives across Donor-Advised Funds, Private Foundations, and Planned Giving by continuing to enable the platform to serve the firm’s diverse customer segments and expanding the addressable market. Her focus is on translating customer needs into actionable product strategy, accelerating time-to-market, and building a product culture centered on execution and impact.

Hetal holds a B.S. in Engineering and M.S. in Information Systems from DePaul University, and completed an Executive Management in Product Development and Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

She is based in Chicago, enjoys travel, spending time with her family and running.
