Snack Bag Volunteers

Our purpose-driven team is not only committed to making a difference by helping philanthropists but also in our local communities! The Connecticut and San Francisco offices recently packed and decorated 450 snack bags for Filling in the Blanks, which supports kids facing food insecurity in the Norwalk, CT community, and Farming Hope, which helps nourish food-insecure neighbors in San Francisco, CA.

Scholarship Support

More Funds For a Foundation

Our Director of Tax and Legal Affairs Judith Hirschkorn recently helped to get a client property tax exemption with New York City. Judy navigated the governmental regulations and persevered through an arduous process. Today, we received confirmation that the client was issued a refund check for more than $100,000! These funds will be used to continue the Foundation’s mission while also supporting their 501(c)3 public charity.

Tax Team Hard At Work

The Foundation Source tax team worked tirelessly to recently prepare more than 3,500 federal and state returns and extensions and calculate 2,600+ payments! We also want to shout out our unparalleled Tax and Legal Operations Team as nothing would have gone out the door to clients, the IRS, or any state agency without them! They made it happen and never stopped smiling.

In Our Enterprise Era

As we continue to invest in enterprise-grade charitable giving solutions for financial institutions, we recently welcomed a new Enterprise client. Over the past months, we achieved remarkable milestones and demonstrated a high level of commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a clear focus on making this a reality. This project aims to take Foundation Source to the next level, and everyone involved across all areas of the company, including our Engineering and Product Teams, should all be very proud!

Collaborating As We Grow

Kudos to members of the PFS grant and client teams, our PG Calc endowment superheroes, and our Foundation Source legal team who all put their heads together to help solve an endowment-related question for a PFS client who happens to be granting to a PG Calc client! This is a beautiful example of cross collaborating across our entire company to help a client in need.

Processing Grants More Efficiently

A bravo is in order for the entire team involved in helping us process one foundation’s grants more efficiently! They did tremendous work delivering a stable and reliable product, and one with a design that allowed us to process grants and keep up with all the exceptions after the grant cutoff date.
