As Founder and Managing Partner of Tiburon Strategic Advisors and the Tiburon CEO Summits, Mr. Roame is a leading strategic advisor to more than 600 Tiburon members, primarily advising the CEOs, other senior executives and the boards of wealth management, investment management and WealthTech firms.

In this capacity, Mr. Roame has responsibility for all of Tiburon’s research, marketing, service and advisory activities which keeps him on the leading-edge of strategic initiatives in the industry’s fastest growing businesses. Additionally, Mr. Roame has been the host and keynote speaker at the semi-annual Tiburon CEO Summits since their inception in 2001, connecting with and influencing virtually all the C-level decision makers at the nation’s leading wealth and investment management firms.

Mr. Roame is an experienced board member helping companies navigate periods of planned and unplanned transition, capital raising, growth acquisitions, IPOs and SPOs, and serving on risk management, compensation, governance and audit committees. In addition to Foundation Source, he is a current board member of Edelman Financial Engines, Facet Wealth, Allspring Global Investments, DPL Financial Partners, Halo Investing, Vise Technologies, Sora Financial, Paanini and SA Funds.

Mr. Roame has won numerous awards throughout his career, including being named one of the power 25 elite by Investment News, one of the 25 most influential individuals in the advisor business by Investment Advisor magazine, and one of the five experts with the answers by Boomer Market Advisor. He is a native of Detroit and a graduate of the University of Michigan.
