Fun Facts:
What is one job that you had prior to your professional career?
I was a DJ for a classic rock and roll radio show in college.
Have you ever had a nickname?
One summer, while in college, my partner and I earned sales commissions on placing video games in Brooklyn pizza shops. My sales name that summer was “Jeff Savage”, an actual family name.
What is something you’re interested in that not many people know about?
I used to write sci-fi and fantasy short stories and one or two were published in a local magazine. I’m a voracious sci-fi reader to this day.
What type of volunteer work have you done or are currently involved in?
For many years, I served as a volunteer security guard. Currently, I volunteer as a biblical studies teacher (I have a degree in General Judaic Studies).
Who is your celebrity look alike?
Tom Hulce.
What is your favorite movie and go-to TV show?
My favorite movie is Quiet Man (featuring John Wayne), and my go-to TV show is Everybody Loves Raymond.
Before law school…
I was on my college’s fencing team (saber). I was in competition with my older brother, who was an All-American saber champion.
After law school…
I attended Parsons School of Design in New York City for a drawing course.
What do you enjoy listening to in your spare time?
I listen to lectures in Talmudic law every day. When I’m not studying, I listen to classic Jazz.
