Teachers are in need of support with recent studies showing that there are currently 567,000 fewer teachers in America’s public schools today than there were before the COVID-19 pandemic. Our client, The Morgridge Family Foundation, is addressing this issue head on by supporting educators during this time.

The Morgridge Family Foundation recently gave $10 million to MindSpark, a nonprofit that supports students and educators. This unrestricted gift coincides with Mindspark’s five-year anniversary and will support educator retention programs. It will be used to fuel strategic innovations in learning and development models that uplift both students and educators.

“The Morgridge Family Foundation is proud of the incredible results MindSpark has achieved thus far in re-engineering education and enabling educators to innovate in and out of the classroom,” said foundation co-founders John D. and Carrie Morgridge. “This transformative gift will make exponential impact possible for future generations of teachers and students.”

MindSpark has impacted 35,000 educators, 1.1 million students, and thousands of schools in the United States and 88 other countries. Read more about this transformative donation here.
