FAIRFIELD, Conn., Foundation Source and its DAF partner Charityvest have been named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026. This year’s list shines a spotlight on businesses that are shaping industry and culture through their innovations.

Foundation Source is the leading provider of philanthropic solutions for donors, nonprofits, institutions, and the wealth advisors who serve them. Charityvest, whose technology platform is powered by Foundation Source, serves as a modern donor-advised fund solution for donors, advisors, universities and nonprofits.

Foundation Source’s recognition follows a period of accelerated expansion that has reshaped the philanthropic technology landscape. Over the past two years, Foundation Source has acquired PG Calc, the leader in planned giving software and services, Vennfi, the fintech behind Charityvest, Giving Place, a software platform for family office giving programs, and Pacific Foundation Services, a foundation management organization. Combined, these acquisitions have driven the company’s charitable assets to grow from $26 billion at year-end 2024 to over $55 billion as of year-end 2025, helping to deploy more than $4 billion in charitable aid annually.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Fast Company for our commitment to building the infrastructure that streamlines and scales charitable giving services across the wealth management industry,” Joseph Mrak III, CEO of Foundation Source said. “As charitable giving becomes a bigger priority and donors seek smarter ways to give, advisors can play an important role in helping them translate generosity into lasting impact. Our goal is to deliver solutions that enable them to better meet clients’ holistic needs and future-proof their practice for the next generation.”

Charityvest’s honor reflects a breakthrough year for its donor-advised fund platform, which became the first fully branded DAF solution purpose-built for independent advisors. In 2025, Charityvest onboarded more than 150 new advisors representing $122 million in combined client philanthropic AUM, and grew all-time philanthropic contributions on the platform 185% to surpass $285 million.

“This acknowledgement reflects our ongoing dedication to equipping the advisor community with modern, configurable donor-advised funds that reflect how families and their advisors are approaching philanthropy today,” said Stephen Kump, President of DAFs at Foundation Source and Founder of Charityvest. “Advisors are uniquely positioned to guide clients toward more strategic giving, and our focus remains on providing them with the tools needed to unlock more charitable capital in order to create a lasting impact.”

The World’s Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company’s hallmark franchise and one of its most anticipated editorial efforts of the year. To determine honorees, Fast Company’s editors and writers review companies driving progress around the world and across industries, evaluating thousands of submissions through a competitive application process. The result is a globe-spanning guide to innovation today, from early-stage startups to some of the most valuable companies in the world.

“Our list of the Most Innovative Companies is about spotlighting organizations that don’t just adapt to change – they drive it,” said Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “The companies we honor this year are redefining what leadership looks like in 2026, pairing bold ideas with measurable impact and turning breakthrough innovation into real-world value.
