As we continue to reflect on our 25-year anniversary, we wanted to catch up with one employee who has been with Foundation Source for more than 20 years, and has played a key role in helping us enhance the services and support we provide to our valued clients. In this edition of our 25-year anniversary series, you’ll meet Linda Faria who is our director of client services. From guiding generational transitions to maintaining long-lasting relationships with our clients, keep reading to learn more about her insights and unique perspective!

Q: When did you join Foundation Source and what is your role?
I joined Foundation Source in July 2004, and I’m the Client Services Director on our Premier Services Team.

Q: What drew you to the company?
After working for a large international Fortune 500 corporation, I wanted to experience a smaller firm which would allow me to roll up my sleeves and make a difference!

Q: How have you affected change and/or supported clients in your role?
As one of the first members of the Client Services team, I have had the pleasure of working with some family foundations for nearly 20 years. Guiding the transitions between generations is so satisfying to see as they proudly sustain the family legacy.

Q: What’s the most inspiring thing you’ve seen a client do?
I’m always impressed by the business acumen that our smart clients apply to their private foundations. The same tools that they use to create their personal success are leveraged to their philanthropy to create lasting impact. I love being considered a “trusted advisor” and facilitator in their process!
