Sr. Vice President of Foundation Solutions

Mary Ann Stover is Senior Vice President of Foundation Solutions, an ambassadorial role focused on the largest and most sophisticated private foundations and the financial institutions that provide specialized investment and trust services to philanthropists and their foundations. Drawing on her extensive experience in the philanthropic sector, she provides strategic guidance and tailored solutions to foundation leaders and their closest advisors as they navigate the lifecycle transitions that can challenge governance, operational and impact effectiveness.

During her 17-year tenure with Foundation Source, Ms. Stover has held a number of key leadership positions that have helped transform the company and steward it through important phases of growth, including Head of Strategy and Chief Revenue Officer.

Prior to joining Foundation Source, Ms. Stover spent many years at The Pew Charitable Trusts, first as a Program Officer and later as the Chief Officer for Program Administration. In these roles, she planned and managed a portfolio of complex grantmaking projects, then supported the President in planning, administration, budgeting, and communications of all grantmaking activities. Previously, Ms. Stover held positions at Temple University and Booz-Allen Hamilton, as well as at nonprofits.

Ms. Stover holds a Masters of Law and Social Policy as well as a Masters in Social Services (with a concentration in advocacy, planning and programs) from Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. She also completed an executive education course on strategic planning and decision making from Wharton Business School. Ms. Stover graduated with honors from Florida Tech with a BS in Biology.
