Favorite thing to do out of work is going skiing, particularly in Colorado and Vermont.
Favorite song at work: most definitely the phone ringing from an inbound call from a prospect. No time for music over here!

When and why did you join Foundation Source?
I joined Foundation Source in November 2021 because I heard about the company through a family friend. I was attracted to the work Foundation Source does by providing a platform and service that enables clients to make a difference in the world through efficient, compliant, and higher-impact philanthropy.
What do you love about working at Foundation Source?
My team! Everyone on our team is such a joy to work with—we always lean on each other and bounce ideas around. It’s a true collaborative environment.
What is the best part of your job?
Being able to converse with just about anyone, from a high-net-worth individual in Los Angeles to a small family law office in Texas that is supporting a family’s philanthropic endeavors.
It’s fulfilling to be able to explain what we do and how we do it, and in turn hear amazing things from philanthropists on how impressed they are with our offerings and how impressed we are with their efforts to make change in the world.”

What do you look forward to each day?
To be quite honest, it is not knowing what the day will entail. One conversation with a philanthropist can turn into helping a family or individual launch their foundation dreams.
What does your job entail?
Working with philanthropists to help determine if a private foundation is the right fit for their needs and if Foundation Source can make their processes a whole lot easier. I also get to work with different roles in the philanthropic space including financial advisors, family offices, attorneys and HNW individuals.
What has been your biggest accomplishment since joining Foundation Source?
One thing that I have thoroughly enjoyed since joining the team has been being able to train team members on the ins and outs of the team and our processes.
What advice would you give to someone who doesn’t know about Foundation Source or may be thinking about joining the team?
Our team and company make philanthropy and running a private foundation function like a well-oiled machine. Our team is very inclusive and more than willing to lend a hand at a moment’s notice.
